Nafiz Ahmed Chisty

Nafiz Ahmed Chisty currently serves as the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and as an Associate Professor at AIUB, a position held since May 2012. Their extensive experience in academia includes roles as Senior Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer within the same department, focusing on teaching and supervising engineering students across various levels. Additionally, Nafiz contributed to the IEEE Bangladesh Section as a Professional Activity Coordinator from February 2016 to February 2017, promoting professional engagement within IEEE societies. Nafiz holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Jahangirnagar University, a Master's degree in System-on-Chip (SOC) from Lund University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from American International University-Bangladesh.
