Leena Kangaskoski

Leena Kangaskoski is an artist whose work focuses on the interplay between materials and symbols. Leena explores the potential of these narratives and their connection to popular science stories. Leena has also worked as an Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer for various companies including Aivan, Harvey Nichols, MATCHES, and The River Group. Additionally, they have served as an Exhibition Designer for the Royal College of Art and a Senior Designer & Team Leader for ASOS.com. Leena has also worked as a Designer for OnOffice magazine and as a Graphic Design Intern for A Practice for Everyday Life. Leena has experience in redesigning websites and creating press materials. Leena's design career began with their work as a Designer for Elle Decoration Collections in 2007 and 2008.

Leena Kangaskoski completed their education at several institutions. Leena received their Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan in Helsinki, Finland from 2004 to 2007. Leena then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Graphic and Media Design with a focus on Concept Design at the University of the Arts London from 2006 to 2008. Leena later obtained a Master's degree in Communication, Art & Design from the Royal College of Art in London from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, they attended Lahden Muotoiluinstituutti from 2002 to 2004, although it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from this institution.
