Brian Haunstrup

Brian Haunstrup has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2008. Theirfirst job was as Owner of Webbureauet Klikbart from 2008 to 2010. Brian then worked as GIS Consultant at COWI from 2009 to 2010, and GIS and Data Analyst at DTU Transport from 2010 to 2011. Brian then moved on to become Product Designer / Frontend Developer at Grontmij | Carl Bro from 2011 to 2013, and Senior UX Designer at Tradeshift from 2013 to 2015. During this time, they were also a Mentor at IT University of Copenhagen from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they were Lead Designer at Septima, and during this time initiated the idea of city-trump-cards (Bytrumf). From 2018 to 2022, they were a Senior Manager User Experience, User Experience Manager, and User Experience Architect at Tradeshift, and is now a Design Manager at Aiven.

Brian Haunstrup's education history includes a cand.scient.geomatic degree from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, obtained between 2005 and 2010 in the field of Geographic Information Science and Cartography. Brian also attended Læreanstalternes Fælles Byplankursus in 2008 in the field of Urban Studies/Affairs. Before that, they obtained a bac degree from Aarhus Business College in 1999 and 2001 in the field of Web/Multimedia Management and Webmaster, and attended Syddansk Erhvervsskole in 1999 in the field of Multimedia.
