Leena Romppainen

Leena Romppainen has worked in a variety of roles since 1992. Leena began their career as a Freelance Journalist at Ylä-Kainuu in 1992, followed by a Freelance Translator role at Trantex Oy in 1998. In 2000, they took on a Release Manager role at Wapit. The following year, they worked as a System Administrator at Etnoteam Finland and a Release Engineer at Netikos Finland Oy. In 2006, they worked as an IT Engineer at Sulake Corporation Oy, where they were also an Employee Trustee in 2007. In 2008, they took on a Systems Engineer role at BaseN, followed by an IT Specialist role at Futurice in 2009. Most recently, they have been a Staff IT Engineer and IT Manager at Aiven since 2020.

Leena Romppainen attended the University of Helsinki from 1994 to 2010, where they studied English Philology and Computer Science.
