Matias Tekoniemi

Matias Tekoniemi currently serves as the Strategy & Special Projects Lead at Aiven since September 2025. Prior experience includes roles at Supercell as a Data Product Manager and Data Analyst from May 2024 to September 2025, and co-founding Lapland Matsutake, where the company supplied premium products to prestigious restaurants like Noma from June 2022 to June 2024. Additionally, Matias held a Venture Capital Intern position at Maki.vc in late 2023, analyzed startups at Huuva as a Business Development Associate, and contributed to the finance team by developing automated solutions. Serving on the board of Hiisi Experience Group, Matias played a key role in strategic development, achieving profitable growth. Teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Aalto University included course development in operations management. Matias holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University and is pursuing a Master's degree in the same field. An academic exchange took place at the University of Sydney in early 2023.
