Yi Luo

Yi Luo is a co-founder of Aixelo Inc. since April 2023, where responsibilities include developing AI tools, constructing a database for metal–organic frameworks (MOF) material synthesis recipes, and integrating machine learning methods for data mining and synthesis condition prediction. Currently serving as a postdoctoral fellow at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) since July 2022, Yi Luo focuses on automated synthesis and optimization of SURMOF materials through advanced robotic systems. Previous experience includes research assistant roles at the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center, where Yi Luo operated and analyzed data using X-ray absorption spectroscopy for metal complexes. Yi Luo holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from KIT and has a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University.
