Tien Jen Liu has a diverse work experience. Tien Jen is currently the Co-Founder & COO of AIxMed, a position they have held since June 2018. Tien Jen is also an Attending Physician at Mackay Memorial Hospital since July 2005. Additionally, they serve as an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Taipei Medical University since January 2018. Tien Jen Liu has been an Adjunct Professor of Business at National Chiao Tung University since January 2016. Tien Jen previously held positions as the Director of the Outpatient Department and Director of the Otolaryngology Department at MACKAY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, Hsinchu br. from July 2015 to June 2016. Tien Jen was a Stanford Taiwan Biomedical Fellow at Stanford University from October 2010 to September 2011. Tien Jen Liu started their medical career as a Resident and Chief Resident at Mackay Memorial Hospital from July 2001 to June 2004.

Tien Jen Liu pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1992, they enrolled at Taipei Medical University to study Medicine. Tien Jen dedicated himself to this field of study for seven years until 1999. Subsequently, in 2010, they became a visiting scholar at Stanford University, where they engaged in the Stanford Taiwa Biodesign program.
