Michael Lam

Michael Lam serves as an AI/ML Research Engineer at aiXplain since May 2023, leveraging previous experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, from August 2021 to June 2023. At Berkeley, Michael focused on innovative research in cancer environments through deep learning and optimization algorithms while also supporting upper division algorithmic coursework as CS 170 Course Staff. Prior roles include developing an automated onboarding framework as a Machine Learning Engineer at aiXplain and contributing to a brain simulation project at Berkeley Lab. Michael holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
