Brendan Donnelly

Brendan Donnelly is an experienced professional in engineering and support roles with a strong background in the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Trading Platform Engineering Manager at AJ Bell, Brendan leads a team focused on enhancing trading platforms and migrating from IBM iSeries technology to modern cloud and container infrastructure while promoting DevOps and FinOps practices. Prior experience includes positions at Standard Chartered Bank where Brendan was a Lead DevOps Engineer responsible for cloud migration on AWS, and previously held roles as a Senior DevOps Engineer and Senior Support Specialist. Brendan has also worked at Société Générale as a Team Lead for Single Dealer Platform Support and has gained foundational experience at Citi in global derivatives rates support and as a placement analyst. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computing and an Associate Bachelor in Computing Science from Ulster University.
