Salim Belim

Salim Belim has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Salim is currently the Head of Digital (Invest Centre) at AJ Bell since May 2020. Prior to that, Salim worked as a Software Engineer Technical Lead at Moneysupermarket Group from October 2017 to May 2020. Salim also served as a Principal Software Engineer at Co-op from October 2016 to October 2017.

Salim's extensive experience includes working at MoneySuperMarket.com, where they served as a Technical Team Lead from May 2012 to October 2016 and as a Technical Expert from February 2009 to February 2012. During their time at MoneySuperMarket.com, they successfully delivered various projects and played a key role in implementing practices such as BDD/TDD, Continuous Delivery, SCRUM, and Kanban.

Before joining MoneySuperMarket.com, Salim worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Rekoop, actively involved in the full project and software development life cycle. Salim also worked as a Web Service Developer at Hargreaves Lansdown, where they played a crucial role in the analysis, design, and development of FundsLibrary, the UK's first centralized hub for retail fund data.

Salim began their career as an Analyst Programmer at Globetronics Sdn Bhd, where they designed, authored, and deployed a web-enabled Manufacturing Resource Planning system named eManufacturing. Salim'sdiverse range of experience showcases their expertise in software development, project management, and leadership roles within the technology sector.

Salim Belim has a diverse education history. In 1994, they obtained a B.Sc(Hons.) degree in Electronics from South Gujarat University. Following this, from 1997 to 2000, they pursued a Masters in Computer Applications from Sardar Patel University, specializing in Computer studies. In 2011, Salim completed an ILM Award (Level 3) in Project Management/Team Leading from Deeside College. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Code School, including "ES2015: The Shape of JavaScript to Come" and "Flying Through Python."
