David Harper

David Harper is an experienced intellectual property lawyer and currently serves as the Principal and Practice Group Leader at AJ Park, where they lead the trade marks practice. They have worked with a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large corporates, using commercially-driven strategies to protect and enforce trade mark rights. Previously, David held the position of Managing Partner at Cedar White Bradley in Dubai, advising multinational and regional clients on various intellectual property matters. They have been recognized as an IP Star and have served on the Asia-Pacific Subcommittee of the INTA Legislation and Regulation Committee. David holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago and an Associate of the Royal Schools of Music in Piano with Distinction.
