Bodil van Overeem Hansen

Bodil van Overeem Hansen has extensive experience in viral vaccine production and cell culturing. Currently serving as a Specialist at AJ Vaccines since January 2017, Bodil focuses on large scale cell culturing and tech transfer from R&D to production. Prior to this role, Bodil worked at Statens Serum Institut from October 2004 to December 2016 as a Specialkonsulent, specializing in upstream cell culturing and viral vaccine production. Additional roles include leadership and consultancy positions at Dako and Neurosearch, Inc., as well as a teaching position at the University of Copenhagen. Bodil holds a Cand. scient. degree in Biokemi from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor’s degree in Molekulær biologi og kemi from Roskilde University, complemented by a strong foundational education in mathematics and physics.
