Don Makamson

Don Makamson is a highly experienced construction professional with a career spanning over three decades. Since 2017, Don has served as a Senior Project Manager at Ajax Building Corporation, ensuring the successful completion of projects through comprehensive management of administrative, technical, and financial requirements. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager positions at Winter Construction, Gilbane Building Company, and Balfour Beatty Construction, where Don demonstrated expertise in contract administration, change orders, and project scheduling. Earlier experience includes project management at Skanska, overseeing K-12 projects, and at Thacker Engineering, managing various construction projects across multiple states. Don began the career as an Estimator and Project Engineer with Moseman Construction Company and J. A. Jones Construction Company. Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from The University of Southern Mississippi.
