Afahaene Uya

Afahaene Uya is a dedicated engineer with diverse experience in electrical engineering and product development. Currently a Research and Development Intern at AjaxTocco Magnethermic since May 2023, Afahaene contributes to the entire product development process, focusing on power systems circuits tailored for prototypes. Previously, Afahaene served as a Graduate Assistant at Youngstown State University, where skills in designing Terahertz antennas and curriculum evaluation were honed. Prior experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at DOFA Legal Ltd, where electrical systems maintenance and improvements were implemented, and as a Cluster Sales Manager at Nigerian Breweries Plc, driving sales growth. Initial roles began with ICA Nigeria Ltd as an Electrical Engineer and Health and Safety Officer, ensuring safety compliance and electrical equipment management. Afahaene holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering from Youngstown State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin.
