Linda Gibson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Linda started their career in 1989 as a Case Manager at MS Dept of Human Services, where they assessed and evaluated clients, completed referrals, and maintained a caseload. In 2001, they joined AJFC Community Action Agency as a Lead Family Resource Worker, responsible for supervising staff, generating reports, and assisting with training. In 2014, they were promoted to the role of Parent Family & Community Engagement Manager at the same company, where they planned and administered services for children and families, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Additionally, in 2008, Linda briefly owned a business called P & L Shoes & Accessories.

Linda Gibson earned their High School Diploma in General studies from North Natchez High School from 1981 to 1983. Later, from 1985 to 1988, they attended The University of Southern Mississippi and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration.
