Kristof van Den Berghe

Kristof Van den Berghe is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Project Manager for Automation and E&I at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services since October 2018. In this role, Kristof acts as a Subject Matter Expert in industrial automation, instrumentation, and electricity, while leading a team of project engineers and participating in digitalization initiatives. Prior to this, Kristof worked as an Automation Project Engineer at Ajinomoto OmniChem, focusing on brownfield automation upgrades, and held roles such as DCS Specialist and Lead Engineer in I&C Engineering at GDF Suez Energie Deutschland AG, where responsibilities included management of automation systems for power plants. Kristof began a career in industrial automation at Electrabel as a Shift Supervisor and Assistant Project Leader. Academically, Kristof holds a Master’s Degree in Electronic Design from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' and a Science high school diploma from Sint-Paulusinstituut Herzele.
