Mike Thompson has extensive experience in maintenance management, currently serving as Maintenance Associate Manager at Ajinomoto Health & Nutrition North America, Inc. since November 2020, and previously as Maintenance Planner/Specialist at Ajinomoto AminoScience LLC since June 2009. In this role, Mike supervises a Preventive Maintenance Team, leads reliability technology initiatives, and manages the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), while interfacing with contractors and supporting various maintenance projects. Prior to these positions, Mike served as an Industrial Maintenance Planner/Tech IV and Industrial Preventive Maintenance Coordinator/Tech III, and spent six years as a Nuclear Machinist Mate 1st Class in the US Navy. Educationally, Mike holds a BSAST in Nuclear/Nuclear Power Technology/Technician from Thomas Edison State University and completed training at Naval Nuclear Power School. Mike is also MLT-1 certified.
