J.D. Palasek, PMP, CMfgT has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. J.D. is currently the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at AJM Packaging Corporation. Previously, they worked at thyssenkrupp Materials NA, where they held multiple roles including Manager - Manufacturing Strategy, Special Projects Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and Operations Excellence Manager. J.D. also worked at Siemens Industry as Principal Business Process Specialist and Engineering Manager, R&D. In addition, they had roles at Siemens Industry as Sr. Product Development Engineer and Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. J.D. began their career at US Filter as an Engineering Support Specialist. Throughout their career, J.D. Palasek has demonstrated expertise in areas such as manufacturing engineering, project management, process improvement, and product development.

J.D. Palasek, PMP, CMfgT completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology with a focus on Manufacturing Engineering at Iowa State University from 1992 to 2000. J.D. also holds several additional certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in March 2018. Other certifications include being a Certified IPC Trainer for IPC/WHMA-A-620 Standard from the IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries, obtained in November 2007 and October 2005, as well as obtaining the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Req. For Cable/Wire Harness Assemblies certification in October 2003. J.D. Palasek achieved the Certified Manufacturing Technologist (CMfgT) certification from SME in April 2000.
