Salem al Shamsi

Salem Al Shamsi has extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Ajman Bank since February 2008, with roles including EVP-Group Head of Retail Bank, Acting Head of Retail Banking, and VP-Government Business Relationship. Al Shamsi has also been Deputy General Counsel at the Emirates Motor & Sports Foundation since February 2013 and Chairman of Ajman eBusiness Services since December 2009. Previous experience includes Senior Branch Manager at Emirates Islamic Bank from November 2005 to February 2008. Salem Al Shamsi holds a B.A. in International Business from Eckerd College, obtained between 1995 and 1998, and was one of the pioneer members during the launch of Ajman Bank.
