Alfredo Jimeno Orrego

Alfredo Jimeno Orrego has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Alfredo began their career in 1994 as a Program Manager at UNHCR, where they co-managed multi-million-dollar programs and coordinated efforts among numerous organizations. Alfredo then moved on to Merrill Lynch in 1998 as a Relationship Officer, where they focused on wealth management for High Net Worth Individuals. In 2001, Alfredo joined AKJ Ltd (Brokerage) as the Head of Business Development, where they successfully developed new clients and expanded into new regions. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at AKJ Investment Management as the Managing Director of Project Management, overseeing the structuring of hedge fund offerings and winning industry awards. In 2017, Alfredo transitioned to a Senior Business Development Manager role at AK Jensen Group Limited, advising on acquisitions and go-to-market strategies. In 2020, they became the Head of Growth at AK Jensen Crypto, responsible for vetting and integrating hedge fund managers trading traditional and crypto strategies. Additionally, Alfredo has worked as a Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at Aix-Marseille Université since 2018.
