David Unger

David Unger currently serves as Senior Vice President for Northeast Operations and Management at AKAM, a position held since January 2024. Unger's extensive experience includes various leadership roles at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts from April 1997 to March 2023, culminating in Vice President Operations for Baymont by Wyndham and multiple other executive positions. In addition to corporate roles, Unger has contributed to community service as a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest New Jersey, where responsibilities have included Chairman and Immediate Past Chair. Unger holds a Bachelor's degree in Resort Management from Southern Vermont College and a Master's degree in Hotel Restaurant & Tourism Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
