Adam Cohen

Adam Cohen is a seasoned professional in data science and engineering, currently serving as the Senior Director of AI Research & Engineering at Akamai Technologies since May 2024. Prior to this role, Adam was with PayPal from January 2013 to May 2024, where leadership positions included Senior Director of Data Science in Fraud Detection and Director Data Science, overseeing global teams responsible for developing machine learning models and data solutions focused on fraud detection and customer authentication. Earlier experience includes roles as Algorithm Group Manager at ARRIS (BigBand) and Algorithm Team Leader at BigBand Networks, focusing on video processing algorithms and solutions.
