Andrew Ryan

Andrew Ryan is a seasoned professional in technical writing and training, currently serving as the Manager of UX Technical Writing at Akamai Technologies since May 2019, where responsibilities include leading a team that develops documentation for enterprise security products. Prior to this role, Andrew held positions at Akamai as Manager of Engineering Documentation and Training, focusing on enhancing technical documentation and learning solutions for the engineering community. Andrew's experience includes significant roles at Applied Materials as Program Manager for Training & Development, and as Technical Training Project Manager, managing training initiatives for field service engineers. Additionally, Andrew worked at Varian Semiconductor as Senior Technical Training Developer, and began a career at Endicott College as Help Desk Coordinator. Andrew holds an MBA in Management from Endicott College and a BA in Communications from Gordon College.
