David Amenhauser

David Amenhauser currently serves as Senior Director of Engineering at Akamai Technologies, a position held since July 2013, with previous roles as Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager. Prior to this, David worked at Motorola Mobility/Google/ARRIS from 2010 to July 2013 as Senior Software Engineering Manager, overseeing a team of 30 engineers. David began a decade-long tenure at Motorola Mobility in 2000, where roles included Senior Software Engineering Manager and Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff, focusing on customer-driven software features and resolving critical software defects. Earlier experience includes working as a Student Consultant at Microsoft and as a Computer Support Specialist at Boston University Medical Center. David holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Boston University, as well as a high school preparatory degree from Malvern Preparatory School.
