James Brown

James Brown currently serves as Senior Director of Field Product Management at Akamai Technologies, where leadership encompasses the Global Field and AI Product Management teams for Akamai Cloud since March 2023. Prior to this, James was Chief Product Officer at Ondat from May 2021 to April 2023, overseeing Product and Engineering teams focused on facilitating large-scale production workloads on Kubernetes. At Arqit, from August 2020 to May 2021, James led product development for a startup specializing in Quantum-Safe encryption. James also held the position of Head of Cloud Security Solutions for EMEA at Palo Alto Networks between September 2018 and August 2020, contributing to strategy and go-to-market initiatives for Prisma Access. Earlier experience includes a role as Global Vice President, EMEA at Alert Logic, where James was promoted through various responsibilities over 4.5 years. James Brown's educational background includes Executive Education in Leadership and Strategy from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.
