Prasanna Laghate

Prasanna Laghate has extensive experience in cloud technology and engineering, serving in multiple leadership roles at Akamai Technologies from October 2017 to April 2023, including Vice President of Cloud Technology Engineering, Vice President of Edge Platform & Products Engineering, and Vice President of Media Engineering. In these positions, Prasanna was instrumental in overseeing various aspects of Akamai's cloud infrastructure, product engineering, and media strategy, contributing to significant revenue generation. Additionally, Prasanna has been a Technical Advisory Board Member at Lilac Cloud, which was acquired by F5, and gained early career experience as a Software Intern at Inktomi Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and Executive Education in Leading Strategic Growth from Columbia Business School.
