Directing all the functions under the privy of Supply Chain and Network Expense in support of Akamai’s global platform of 250,000 servers deployed in over 150 countries. These responsibilities include, but are not limited: server and network equipment procurement, contract manufacturing, transportation, import/export, and end to end distribution; management of all 3pls and freight carriers, maintenance support, reverse logistics, and recycling programs; invoice processing for all network costs; global compliance and documentation, customs; and related management of all budgets associated with the foregoing. I am familiar with a wide variety of operations, concepts, practices, and procedures. Charged with evolving existing processes, defining, and implementing new ones as Akamai’s global platform continues to rapidly expand.
