Tony Lauro

Tony Lauro has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and information security, currently serving as the Director of Security Technology and Strategy at Akamai Technologies since May 2013. Previous roles at Akamai include Manager of Cyber Security Architecture and Lead Senior Enterprise Security Architect. Prior to joining Akamai, Tony held positions at Softcard (acquired by Google) as Application Security Lead and Security Operations Manager, as well as roles at Trintech, Inc. as Information Security Officer. Additional experience includes positions at Frito Lay, Secure & Defend Consulting, and Allegiance Telecom, among others. Tony holds educational qualifications from Texas Tech University and Collin College.
