Rick Giberson

Rick Giberson is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the architecture and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Architect at Akana since May 2023, Rick previously worked as an Architect in a self-employed capacity from May 2021 to May 2023. Prior to that, Rick held the position of Senior Architect at a company yet to be announced, as well as at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from September 2018 to May 2021. Rick's earlier roles include Senior Project Manager at RGU Architecture, Manager of Design and Engineering at Randolph Construction Services, Inc. and NorthStar Federal Services, and Director of Architecture at Meier Architecture Engineering. Rick began the professional journey at Tetra Tech INW, excelling as a Senior Project Manager and Director from April 2001 to July 2008. Educationally, Rick completed a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design/Architecture at the University of Washington from 1975 to 1979.
