Rick Unruh

Rick Unruh, P.E. currently serves as the Asset Management Group Manager at Akana, a position held since November 2022. Previously, Rick held various roles at Stantec from November 2015 to June 2023, including Principal of Asset Management and Senior Engineer/Project Manager, focusing on facility condition assessments and asset management for various government and commercial clients. Rick's extensive experience includes project management at the Port of Tacoma, structural engineering at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, and contract structural design work in Dubai. Rick's educational background includes a M.Eng. in civil engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a BSCE in civil engineering from Northeastern University, and a BA in Mathematics from Colby College.
