Abhishek Poyekar currently serves as the Deputy Chief Pilot - Fleet at Akasa Air, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this, Abhishek accumulated extensive experience at SpiceJet Limited from May 2010 to December 2023, where roles included Chief of Flight Safety and Safety Manager, Captain, Deputy Chief Pilot, SAG Manager (FLT OPS), Synthetic Flight Instructor, and First Officer. Abhishek briefly worked as the Head of Operations for Seaplane at SpiceJetTechnic from December 2020 to May 2021. An alumnus of the National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) University Hyderabad, Abhishek earned a Master's degree in Aviation Law & Air Transport Management between 2020 and 2022. Earlier, Abhishek completed a Bachelor of Science in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Mumbai University in 2012.
