Shankar Jayaraman

Shankar Jayaraman is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in computer science and engineering management. Currently serving as CISO and VP of Development at Akasa Air, Shankar has previously held key leadership positions including Director of Research & Development at Sophos, Director of Quality Engineering at VMware, Senior Engineering Manager in Cloud Engineering at Intel Security, and Senior Manager of Development at Symantec. Shankar holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University.
