M.l. de Jong

M.L. (Laura) de Jong is an accomplished M&A Partner at AKD N.V., with extensive experience in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions since joining the firm in 2008. Prior to this role, Laura served as a Senior Associate in the Corporate and M&A department and worked at Berk Corporate Finance as a Management Assistant from January 2006 to December 2007. Additional experience includes a student internship at Baker & McKenzie in 2007 and a Management Assistant position with the EU Phare Synthetic Drugs Project II from January to October 2004. Laura holds a Post-doc degree in Mergers & Acquisitions from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed the Dutch Bar Association's Legal Practice Course, and earned a master's degree in Private and Corporate Law from Utrecht University. Educational background includes attendance at Marnix Gymnasium Rotterdam and Montessorischool Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, with ongoing studies at LOI.
