Melissa Garner

Melissa Garner serves as the Finance Manager at AKD Softwoods since March 2019, where responsibilities include frontline management of the finance function, strategic financial planning, and the production of financial reports and forecasts. Prior to this role, Melissa held positions at Colac Otway Shire, including Coordinator of Financial Planning and Contracts, and Financial Accountant, contributing to the development of long-term financial planning frameworks and managing procurement processes. Melissa's career began with an internship in Accounts Payable at Deakin University, and formal education includes a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University and completion of the CPA Australia Program.
