Michael Swanson has extensive experience in human resources and economic development, currently serving as HR Manager at AKD since March 2019, after progressing through roles as Recruitment Manager and Recruitment Coordinator at the same company. Prior to this, Michael worked at COLAC OTWAY SHIRE from August 2009 to March 2019, holding various positions including Economic Development & Tourism Coordinator, Business Improvement Coordinator, and Business Development Officer. Earlier career experiences include being a Financial Adviser at RetireInvest from 2006 to 2009 and an Administrator at CQ Recruitment from 2004 to 2006. Michael holds an Advanced Diploma of Management from AVTES, a Foundation accreditation of PRINCE 2 from Adaptive Frameworks, and two Diplomas of Management from VECCI.
