Sophie Lohézic

Sophie Lohézic has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data analytics and statistics. Sophie is currently working at Akeneo as a Data Team Lead. Prior to this, they worked at AccorHotels as a Lead Data Scientist, where they spread the data culture within the organization, mentored team members, and managed various data projects. Sophie also has experience as a Data Analytics Lecturer at ECV Digital and as an R&D Director/Chief Data Scientist at CSA (Institut d'Etudes).

Sophie has worked in various roles at Ipsos, starting as a Statistician and later becoming a Marketing Science Consultant. During this time, they provided statistical expertise, conducted data analysis, and supported various client accounts. Sophie also worked as a Data Modeling Manager at Synovate before it was acquired by Ipsos.

In addition to their industry experience, Sophie has worked as a Statistical Project Manager at Socio Logiciels, providing statistical consultancy and support to research and development and marketing teams. Sophie also worked as a Statistician at Dimensions, specializing in new product development and sensory analysis.

Throughout their career, Sophie has developed expertise in a range of tools and methodologies, including Python, R, Dataiku, Jira, and Agile methodologies.

Sophie Lohézic's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Food Science and Engineering with a focus on Applied Statistics, which they obtained from L'Institut Agro Rennes-Angers from 2002 to 2007. Sophie also holds a Scientific Baccalaureate in Mathematics from Lycée Benjamin Franklin, Auray, which they obtained in 2002. In 2016 and 2017, they pursued a Certificate in E-Marketing and E-Commerce from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. Sophie has also obtained several additional certifications, including courses in Tableau, Industrial IoT, Machine Learning, Python programming, English proficiency, and SAS programming.
