Bjørn Blindheim

Bjørn Blindheim has a diverse and extensive work experience, spanning multiple industries and roles. Bjørn is currently serving as the Chief Talent Officer at Aker ASA since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director at Aker Scholarship from September 2015 onwards. Before their involvement with Aker, Bjørn gained valuable experience as an independent advisor, providing strategic and financial advice in energy, renewables, technology, and IT/telecom sectors. Bjørn also served as the CEO of Exie AS, a software company, where they played a crucial role in its growth and development. Bjørn began their professional career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, specializing in industries such as energy, telecom, and organization strategy. As a Young Professional at the OECD, they participated in a management trainee program and held the distinction of being the youngest administrator. Additionally, Bjørn worked at CERN as a Technical Student, where they contributed to the development of an Internet security monitoring system. Overall, Bjørn Blindheim brings a wealth of expertise in strategy, finance, negotiations, industrial business development, and internationalization.

Bjørn Blindheim has a diverse education history. Bjørn began their educational journey in 1983 at Riis High School, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they attended UiT- The Arctic University of Norway from 1985 to 1986, during which they pursued studies in Ex Phil (Philosophy).

In 1986, Bjørn enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and obtained a Master of Science degree in Telematics / Computer Science. Bjørn spent five years at NTNU, completing their studies in 1991.

Bjørn continued their academic pursuits and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Oslo (UiO) in 1992. The following year, they attended the prestigious University of Oxford for a postgraduate program in Development Economics, culminating in 1993.
