Marit Stannum Hval

Marit Stannum Hval has over two decades of experience in communication and administrative roles, currently serving as a Communication Advisor at Aker ASA since 2010. In this position, Marit is responsible for developing messaging, producing content for social media and internal channels, and managing internal communication. Previous roles include Team Assistant at Aker ASA, where professional support was provided to investment directors, and Executive Assistant at Aker Seafoods ASA, handling press releases and company website updates. Marit also contributed to public affairs at the American Embassy Oslo, managing budgets and grants, and served in documentation and internship roles at Tyco Healthcare and the University of North Dakota, respectively. Marit holds a BA in Communication from the University of North Dakota and has completed coursework at the American College of Norway.
