Louie Skjong

Louie Skjong has extensive experience as a Chief Engineer in various companies in the maritime industry. Louie most recently worked at Aker BioMarine ASA since 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at DESS Aquaculture Shipping AS from 2020 until 2021. Louie also worked as a Chief Engineer at Sølvtrans AS, Topaz Energy and Marine, Intership AS, Sølvtrans AS, Rem Offshore ASA, and Rem Offshore. Additionally, they gained experience as an Engineroom Operator at Ocean Rig. Overall, Louie Skjong has a strong background in engineering and a broad understanding of the industry.

Louie Skjong attended Ålesund Maritime Skole from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a VK3 Maskinsjef degree. Prior to that, they attended Arendal videregående skole from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a VK2 maskin degree. Additionally, Louie has a certification in Assessor Certificate of Proficiency from the Norwegian maritime directorate.
