Moussa Wone

Moussa Wone, Ph.D., P.E., DBIA, currently serves as Chief Engineer and Vice President of Engineering and Clean Rivers at DC Water, a position held since August 2013. With extensive experience in tunnel engineering, Moussa has held various roles including Principal Tunnel Engineer at Halcrow a CH2M Hill Company and Senior Tunnel Engineer at Hatch Mott MacDonald and STV, Inc. Additionally, Moussa has academic experience as a Senior Researcher at Virginia Tech and a Research Engineer at École Polytechnique. An expert in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, Moussa holds a Ph.D. from École nationale des ponts et chaussées and a Master’s degree from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology.
