Are Osen

Are Osen is a seasoned geophysicist with extensive experience in seismic processing and geophysical research. Currently serving as Exploration Manager Geophysics at Aker BP ASA since May 2017, Osen has previously held significant roles at Statoil from 1999 to 2017, including Leading Researcher and Geophysicist, where key contributions involved seismic modeling, migration, and inversion techniques. Earlier experience at StatoilHydro ASA included coordination of advanced seismic migration methods. Osen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, completed between 1989 and 1998.
