Brian Jacobsen

Brian Jacobsen is an experienced Advanced Completion Engineer currently working at Aker BP ASA since October 2022, focusing on advanced completion engineering for multiple projects. Previously, Brian served as Completion Engineering Supervisor at Aker BP Norway for a brief period following the merger with Lundin Energy Norway, where Brian held the same title from September 2010 to July 2022, overseeing all completion and dry Xmas tree engineers. Brian's extensive background includes roles at renowned companies such as Statoil Petroleum AS, Norsk Hydro Produksjon ASA, and Maersk Oil, along with entrepreneurship experience as the owner of Hydrocarbon Holding ApS. Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organisational Strategy and Business Administration from Syddansk Universitet and multiple engineering degrees from Trinity College Dublin and Technological University Dublin.
