Charlie Hamilton

Charlie Hamilton is an accomplished geoscientist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Exploration Manager for Aker BP ASA since March 2019. Prior roles within Aker BP ASA include Subsurface Manager for Exploration & Reservoir Development and Senior Exploration Geologist. Previously, Charlie worked at Total as a Senior Geologist on the Johan Sverdrup Team and at Maersk Oil, where roles included Senior Geologist and Development Geologist, contributing to various projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Charlie began a career at Chevron as an MSc student, focusing on geological research. Educational credentials include an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Aberdeen and a BSc Hons in Geology from the University of Edinburgh.
