Lalit Patil

Lalit Patil is a Senior Specialist Electrical Engineer at Aker Solutions, currently involved in the Yggdrasil project as the client responsible engineer for LV/auxiliary systems related to STATCOM and TCSC packages since May 2022. Prior to this role, Lalit served as a Senior Electrical Package Responsible Engineer and Senior Electrical Project Engineer at FRAUSCHER CONSULTING GmbH, with a focus on data center design and project management from April 2021 to April 2022. Lalit has also contributed to research on soft switching measurement and control concepts for GaN-based devices while completing a Master's thesis at Infineon Technologies in 2020. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Aker Solutions from 2013 to 2018 and a project internship at Crompton Greaves, where Lalit managed a team for power transformer design and production activities. Lalit holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering in Mumbai.
