Mathias Dahl Venberget

Mathias Dahl Venberget is a Senior Geophysicist at Aker BP ASA, specializing in reservoir development for the Yggdrasil Field since June 2022. Prior to this role, Mathias held various positions, including Senior Geologist and Geologist, focusing on exploration in the Norwegian North Sea. Mathias has extensive experience in exploration with Lundin Norway AS from August 2017 to October 2022 and an internship at Migris AS, where the role involved testing and sensitivity studies of petroleum system simulations. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Petroleum geology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and further studies in Rift basin reservoirs and petroleum geology from Montanuniversität Leoben and The University Centre in Svalbard. Additional experiences include serving as a student assistant at NTNU and previous roles as a medic with the Norwegian Coast Guard and an instructor at Ullevål bandyskole.
