Rob Brown

Rob Brown is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in marine operations and subsea projects across the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as the focal point for marine operations for the Yggdrasil Project at Aker BP ASA, Rob previously held significant roles at Shell and Nexans, including leadership positions in the development of subsea gas compression systems and risk management for offshore wind farm projects. With a strong engineering background, Rob has contributed to groundbreaking projects such as the Åsgard Subsea Compression and the Ormen Lange Subsea Compression Project, demonstrating expertise in technology qualification and contractor management. Rob holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Offshore Engineering from the University of Warwick and Newcastle University, respectively, along with a Certificate in Contract Law and Arbitration.
