Sigmund Kristiansen

Sigmund Kristiansen is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as Chief Cyber Security Officer at Aker BP ASA since October 2018. Prior to this role, Kristiansen was the Director of Corporate Information Security at Norsk Hydro from May 2014 to October 2018, and held the position of Head of Section for Operational Excellence at DNV from January 2007 to May 2014, overseeing commercial security services encompassing both cyber and physical security. Earlier experience includes roles as Sr. Consultant in Information Risk at Norman ASA and software developer, along with serving as an IT Operator at CGGVeritas. Kristiansen holds a degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnical College of Norway, completed in 2001.
