Martin Heiland

Martin Heiland has extensive experience in information security and software quality assurance, having served as Chief Information Security Officer at Open-Xchange from August 2006 to December 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing the Business Integrity Cell, developing security policies, and ensuring ISO 27001 compliance. Prior to this, Martin held the position of Head of Software Quality Assurance at Open-Xchange, focusing on security audits and application security, and started the career as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a focus on application security and cloud computing. Previously, Martin worked as an Information Technology Engineer at Deutsche Telekom from September 2001 to August 2006. Educational qualifications include dual degrees in Fachinformatiker for Systemintegration from Berufskolleg Technik and Berufskolleg Wirtschaft und Verwaltung in Siegen, attained from January 2001 to January 2004.
