Aslak Casen

Aslak Casen has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Aslak is currently serving as the Head of Operations at Aker Horizons since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at NOV where they held multiple roles including Senior Project Manager from December 2019 to March 2022 and Engineering Manager from July 2018 to December 2019.

Aslak also worked as the Global Manager for Fabrication, Installation, and Commissioning at Wartsila Gas Systems from June 2016 to July 2018. Aslak Casen spent 10 years at BW Offshore as an Operations Manager for FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) platforms from January 2006 to June 2016.

Aslak has also held positions at Vetco Aibel as a Process Lead, responsible for a Petrobras FPSO project, and at Aker Kvaerner as the MEG Product and Technology Manager. In addition, Aslak Casen worked at Kvaerner Process Systems as a Process Technology Supervisor and as the Manager of the Hydrogen Peroxide Division, where they were involved in marketing, sales, contract preparation, and technology development.

Aslak started their career at Dynea AS as a Plant Manager, overseeing the production of formaldehyde. Throughout their career, Aslak Casen has demonstrated a strong background in operations, project management, engineering, and leadership within the oil and gas industry.

Aslak Casen pursued a Master of Science and Engineering degree in Oil and Gas Processing, with a focus on Chemical Engineering, at NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology). No specific start or end years are provided.
