Ingrid Thornes

Ingrid Thornes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within the oil and gas industry. Since 2006, Ingrid has served as a Discipline Leader at Aker Solutions, overseeing various projects including the Gullfaks South Increased Oil Recovery and the Njord A Feed contracts, with responsibilities ranging from package engineering to administration of discipline tasks. Prior to Aker Solutions, Ingrid held the position of Application Engineer at Rolls-Royce Marine, where technical responsibilities included project management for marine motor deliveries. Ingrid began her career at Norsk Vannbehandling AS, completing projects related to municipal water treatment facilities. Educationally, Ingrid holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Aquaculture Technology and an engineering degree in Environment and Aqua Engineering from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.
